Cinched-waist organic cotton top in Liberty^® Busy Izzy fabric

Me: 32B/34A, slim but broad shoulders so sizing gets a bit tricky. Purchased size 2. Fits great through the torso ( I measure a out 32-33 at the rib cage and about 28-29 waist on a well-fed day). Prior review correct - the string tie is fixed - no cinching to snug it up at the bust. But it's the sleeves ... if the had been just a BIT closer to center, like 1/4-1/2" on each side, this would have fit great. Once I tack in the sleeves, maybe do a little smocking along the top edge, this will be good to go.

Slightly shorter but great with higher waist jeans. Great color and fits well. Rubber on shoulders so sleeves stay up. So cute!

I love this top. Very well made. Love it because it is cotton & lined on the chest area, the elastic at the shoulders that help it stay on n not slip off the shoulders, the hooks in between buttons so you don't get peeping holes as smocking might cause that. All these details make the top superb. If JCrew has this in different colors i would buy all. I bought an xxs n it fits although a bit low cut so I had to do a little alterations on my own. I am small chested. Nonetheless it is such a pretty quality top. Well made. Highly recommend it. I paired it with a pencil skirt n a pair of heels n looks a million bucks. But it could go well with anything.

This isn't a style I'd usually wear, but the reviews were so positive and turns out they were spot on. TBH I was a little concerned it might look too young or bare too much, but no, the darker background nudges up the sophistication a bit and I'm able to wear it without showing any cleavage. I wouldn't wear it for work, but it's perfect for out and about. Also it's very flattering--makes your ribcage look narrow without the illusion of linebacker shoulders. The only caveat is that I wish it were just an inch longer--even with higher waisted jeans, I wear a bodysuit underneath because I like to keep myself to myself.

Wow I'm amazed at how affordable this shirt has gotten. It's so well made -- not only is there a hidden button front, there are hook and eye closures at the elastic to prevent gapping. I have a very small bust and at first the top just fell off my shoulders. I had to take it to the tailor, who pinched out some of the fabric at the top of the shoulders. Completely worth it. It's like Doen at a fraction of the price, and the print is like a beautiful meadow sunset. And the square neck and puff sleeves are so good. Perfect with jeans.

I had ordered last year a very similar shirt, however the arms where elastic and it is falling off my shoulders regularly. This year the version has a collar around the shoulders instead of elastic. It is much better. The fabric is also thicker then the one from last year. I like it very much. I am a 34b, took an S and it looks very good. Although I am not equipped as some others on the breast area. On the picture it is not visible but it has full buttons in the front. It is not a popover. Get it as long as it is available.
