Classic-fit boy shirt in black Stewart tartan flannel

I’ve been waiting for a tartan button down in a classic or boy fit from Jcrew (the slim cut is not my favorite). I found this shirt to be a little narrow in the shoulders but fits in the sleeves, chest and torso. I do have broad shoulders but usually take a size 2 in the classic and boy shirts from Jcrew. I had to go up to a size 4 in this one - I don’t mind the slightly looser fit because it fits better in the shoulders. I would recommend this if you are looking for a casual shirt for the holidays.

Perfect shirt for the season I have had people stop me while I am out shopping to ask where did I get my holiday shirt? I love it with black or red pants. It fits perfect and is good quality fabric.

I bough size 2 which is my typical size in J. Crew, and it fits me well. The shirt is not too lose, and the length is below the hip. Fabric is soft to the touch, and colors are bright. Overall, I like the shirt and wear it around the house with leggings or out with jeans.

I really like JCrew flannels. This is my third purchase. They are soft, wash well and I really like the boyfriend fit. This one has a perfect mix of colors too.

The colors (in particular the red) are more muted than they appear in the photo, but I still like the shirt. I am 5’4” and 144lbs, and the size 6 fits me well.
