5 customer reviewsWhat customers are saying:
Customers liked the relaxed, everyday feel of this popover and some appreciated the longer length and easy drape. Fit-wise, it seems to run roomy overall, though a few customers suggested sizing based on the chest since the cut can feel boxy or a bit tight up top depending on body shape. A common note was that the cotton poplin is very thin and tends to look quite wrinkled, so customers who want a crisper shirt may want to keep that in mind. Overall, it works best for those looking for a casual, low-key white shirt rather than a polished, structured one.

thin material and bulky fit
March 9, 2022The collar on this shirt is minuscule, the fabric is very thin and easily wrinkled, and the cut is very very boxy. if you get a size to fit your chest the rest of the shirt is way too big. I got in monogrammed so unfortunately I cannot return,

Terrible fit
February 8, 2022I used to love jcrew popover shirts. Since last year the fit changed and now they’re tight in the chest and loose on the bottom. And for me the shirt is too long…Not flattering! The fabric is thin and very wrinkled, but I guess it’s supposed to be a casual look. For ref. I bought size 10 (5’5“/140 lbs./36 B) I will return this one.

Nice not-so-boxy popover
March 29, 2021I LOVE the longer length of the JCrew shirts this season! This is a nice shirt -- roomy but with a nice long and lean drape. The style looked confusing on me - a paste-up of trad oxford-cloth styling and popover/smock. I didn't like the poplin fabric at all, too pucker-y especially on hems and placket. And unfortunately the side slits look weird on my solid straight up-and-down body (I understand they are made to accommodate a body type which is small on top and curvy on bottom - just wish they were optional somehow!). Sizing was true - I am 5'4", 115, non-curvy athletic body, and took my normal size 4. Returning due to style/fabric/side slits, but I really do love the drape and fit, especially the torso length!
