Collection ruffle shirt in garment-dyed silk

I am happy to get these ruffle shirts in a recent sale while my size was available. I got the green and pink colors and they are exactly as shown, with ruffle details on sleeves. I also like how the front ruffles are double layered, giving more textures to the fullness.

I was lucky to get all 3 colors during a great sale, they're so beautiful and unique, so soft!! The turquoise is amazing. Was worried it might look a bit "old", but totally not! This is a statement blouse, great tucked in monochromatic separates. Absolutely love!!!

We all know it....so I'm just going to say it for the 900th time...A BEAUTIFUL PIECE....BUT HUGE...like all things J.Crew these days!! WHY????? Got the lime green and it's just beautiful with my long dark brown hair, but back to my Alterations for a nip tuck! Probably going to style this with some cool camo pants in the Fall. I say, get it!

While I am disappointed that they changed the blouse by removing the ruffles up the cuffs, I was prepared for this disappointment by other reviewers (thank you!). That being said, this is a stunning piece. I was hard put to choose between the three colors, as I loved them all, but I decided to go with the aqua, since it was selling the fastest. The silk, as another reviewer mentioned, has a lovely hand, it arrived unwrinkled, and it fit as though it were made for me in my usual size (2). There was no gaping at the bust, and since I am flat-chested, the ruffles did not stick out for me as they did for another buyer (though I could see how it could be an issue if you're well-endowed), and it drapes beautifully. It's a sultry top. The color is mesmerizing and it feels sensual on. I really cannot recommend enough. I may have to buy the others while they are on sale. I am 5'4" and weigh about 110. LOVE the silk, it has an amazing hand, like you’d expect from Collection. LOVE the ruffle-cuffs, they are perfect, really wearable but extra lovely. LOVE the aqua color! The ruffle-front is the deal-breaker for me. It lays nicely flat above and below the bust line but then sticks out in front of my chest in a weird way at the bust line. Not sure if sizing up would make sense as the rest of the blouse fits and flows wonderfully. Maybe if you wear it under a blazer that would hold it in place but I don’t often wear blazers. Or maybe for a non-busty gal, but not for me. Hard to send back.

I ordered two of the blouse that was originally pictured with the super fancy, lovely ruffles traveling from the cuff down the button placket. Ordered the aqua and the green. I was really, really disappointed the ruffles end at the cuff, period, on both colors. Sitting on the fence about returning one or both. Beautiful blouse, a little delicate, and feminine. I'm 5'6", 127 lbs, 34B ordered XS
