Double-ruffle cotton voile top

Im in between sizing with J Crew (S-M or 2-4) and it’s always hit or miss. This was a hit. Im am a 34C. Zips perfectly at torso and has the little snaps on the lining for bra straps to keep the shoulders in place. Hopefully it still holds up after laundering/dry cleaning!

I usually love all my J Crew pieces and have never experienced anything like this before, but something was definitely wrong with the piece I received. First, even before I got the top on, the zipper was very very hard to pull down. The zipper kept catching on the lining and took several tries to get down safely, not a good sign. Then when I attempted to put the garment on I could barely get the top over my rib cage. Additionally, I ordered a size up from my usual size because I was hoping it would be looser on me, wasn't going to happen with this top. Finally, when I did get it into place the shoulders were huge and would not stay in place and I could barely breath in it. So, in summation of you have massive shoulders and no ribs, rock on you will love it, I unfortunately have ribs and normal shoulders. I do seriously think my garment was faulty and it will be going back. A swing and a rare miss on this one. This top is a gamble and if you take the risk, I hope your top is made well.

May be dressed up or down- but big ruffles make it look more dressy. The ruffles were bigger than expected. Has a easy back zipper & tabs to hold bra straps. Great for hot summer nights!
