Jeweled button popover tunic in Black Watch tartan

The jeweled buttons really gave this tartan plaid shirt a fun twist, especially for the holidays. I love the shirt- the only complaint I have is that I feel the front is just a bit too short. Wish it was just a bit longer- maybe that's just me but I would have liked it better like that- nice quality- not a real tight fit. Got lots of compliments - the buttons are lovely and they even gave an extra which was nice.

I was eyeing this top in the tartan print but literally could dress an army in all the tartan I have, so I decided against buying. But when I saw the black watch I went for it. Super cute. I am a size 10-12 and boxy/athletic with broad shoulders. The style of the shirt kind of accentuates my boxy-ness but it’s still flattering. I wore it to Christmas Day with last years J Crew easy lace pants in black and received many complements. Only critique is the weight of the buttons. I have two sweaters with the same buttons and knew they are heavy. Whatever buttons you leave unbuttoned will flop to the side because of their weight. I think on the model it looks like the shirt collar will stand up, which it doesn’t. I would normally not be as conservative and unbutton more but ended up buttoning this up pretty high since part of the look is the fancy buttons. Overall though a great top I see myself wearing after the holidays

Classic tartan print for the Holiday's with the addition of crystal buttons. Not so much bling that you feel like it's over the top. Can dress up or down. Wore it to work for casual Friday with jeans during the Holidays and got lots of compliments. Feels like lightweight taffeta on - no give to the fabric so if you want a bit more room - maybe size up. Fun holiday basic - got it in two colors.

I thought this shirt would be cut like a normal dress shirt but it's incredibly boxy and a little short in the front. Purchased for holidays at work but heading back to the store!
