Puff-sleeve textured organza top

Loved this classic piece and thought it would be a great wardrobe addition. It's a JCrew Collection item with gorgeous fabric and tailoring. BUT!! it runs two sizes smaller and it's so so SHORT!! Ordered my usual XL and couldn't even get it over my bust so I ordered a size up. Thought I could get it tailored if needed. Well!! The XXL was like a compression shirt over the bust so I ordered TWO sizes bigger than usual. The 2x fit in the bust but it was actually shorter than the XXL and barely hit my waist. I've never worn a 2x in anything. HELP! JCrew, why oh why did you make this blouse so small and why do you make your blouses so SHORT?? I would never order a petite blouse but I feel like your tops/blouses are designed for a petite frame. Sadly, returned all three.

It’s cute, stylish and fancy! The top is a little cropped but it might be because I am 5’10.
