Favorite Summer Top
April 15, 2024I bought this top last year in white, and it turned out to be my favorite be white top. Love the smocking and the texture. Very versatile. I've worn it with jeans, shorts and skirts. Washes really well. I wash and tumble dry all my J. Crew t-shirts and cotton tops in lingerie bags so they last longer. No ironing needed. My only regret is that I didn't get all the colors. Hint, hint!

Beautiful summer top--dress up or down
June 30, 2023This is a very cute top--purchased in both navy and orange. Fits perfectly as a small (34DD, petite frame). My biggest issue with this top is the length. It oddly barely hits the top of your waistband. Another inch would've made it perfect! Not sure that going up a medium would've been the solution--worried it would've been too big/ill-fitting and probably the added length would've been negligible. I'm keeping the tops, but not 100% in love with them b/c of the length. I'll make it work! Doubt that J.Crew's target audience for this top is the younger set who wants crop tops, so hope that J.Crew design team will take this to heart and think about adding a bit of length to their tops. Not all of us love wearing super high-waisted pants (or want to!)!
