Relaxed-fit shirt in herringbone twill

This might be one of my favorite shirts. It’s super light weight and fits so well. It can be used as a cover up for just an oversized button down tucked in. I was hesitant about purchasing after I read the reviews, but I wish I would’ve gotten another one in a dif color. I’m 5”3, 116, and normally get an XXS or XS in J.Crew. I got a size 0 and it’s oversized but just like I like it.

I recently purchased this shirt in the faded pistachio. I gave this shirt 3 stars because it was grossly oversized in my usual size 6. I haven’t tried washing/drying in dryer yet to see if it will shrink as it is 100% cotton. Not to be dissuaded by this I bought a size 4 in the almond biscotti and ding, ding, ding it fits sooooo much better. I’m giving it 5 stars on overall quality as it’s: Both faded pistachio and almond biscotti are great shades A great summer weight relaxed shirt 100% cotton (even though it’s so lightweight that I can see my pink sports bra underneath) Easily remedied Has great sleeve length Has great body length Appears to be stitched well I will be washing the size 4 in cold water and line drying. The fit is just how I like it. Bummed about having to iron but it’s a minor detail for me.

Yes, very oversized, but once you get past that I think you’ll like it! Super lightweight with herringbone details in textile (subtle), nice shade of pistachio green and I love that I can buy the matching shade tank to go underneath. I’m 5’3 and will probably have hem tailored as it’s a touch too long if I don’t half tuck. 112lbs, would have ordered a 00 if it was offered; 0 will do.

I’m 5’ 103 pounds and ordered the 0. It’s huge and I’m a true fan of oversized clothing. I tied in at my waist to contain and will likely wear as a swim coverup as the fabric is thin enough. I love the pistachio green, not a fan of the pockets. Pass if you are petite.

The shirt is super light and very relaxed. I wish I would’ve sized down as I purchased an 8. Could’ve easily gone with a 6 and achieved a better fit. It’s soo light could also be used as a cover up to. The price was great so I bought two!

The pros: Casual shirt 100% cotton Faded pistachio is a really nice color Sleeves are long enough Covers the derrière The cons: Cotton is really thin and perhaps too lightweight This will be very wrinkled every time it’s worn Sleeves may be too long for some but can be cuffed I bought a 6 and it’s very oversized. Probably could wear a 4 but the style, in fairness, does say relaxed. I’m 5’7” 36C and about 138 lbs. I will wear with jeans and recommend if someone is looking for a thin lightweight shirt for summer but otherwise it may be a bit of a disappointment. Worth it at the sales price but not at full price IMO.
