Great fabric, terrible cut
September 1, 2021I really wanted to like this shirt- the fabric is gorgeous, and I like the vertical striping and cut of the sleeves. But the shirt is all wrong for me. I normally wear a medium in button up shirts- otherwise the sleeves tend to be too tight on my biceps. This shirt is a tent. It fits my sister's 6'1" 180 pound boyfriend better than me. The shoulder seam is a little to the front of the shirt. This, combined with the excessive amount of fabric in the shirt, makes the shirt slip up and back on me. There's no flattering way to wear so much shirt. Since I can't return it (final sale) I'll have to either try resewing it into a small shirt or give it to a much larger person. For reference, I'm 5'6", 160 pounds, 39/29/39.

The sleeves are just ridiculous!
August 5, 2021First of all, the quality of this shirt is very good. It is definitely more on the tunic side of things, but that is fine with me. However, the sleeves and yoke on this shirt are just absurd. It is the most old fashioned fit I've seen. IMO, with the tunic style of this shirt, the sleeves should've been shortened or rolled another time. Since I got it final sale, I'll be attempting to do this myself. I wish someone would try these clothes on first to see the fit. Needs a more modern update. For that reason, I'd never recommend this shirt. I hope the style changes next year.

Love! Pretty roomy for typical size
July 31, 2021I love this top a ton. It fits nice, pretty roomy so you can definitely size down if you want to. The fabric is divine and the short sleeve is what sold me. I bought it in yellow too!

Great linen, weird shape
June 14, 2021I loved the way this fit when I tried it on. After washing though, it doesn't drape as well. There's a bunch of extra fabric above the chest near my shoulders and armpits that looks odd.

perfect summer shirt
June 9, 2021I love the relaxed easy feel about this shirt, but it can be dressed up with the right skirt or wide leg pant and jewelry. It’s perfect for hot summer days, no clinging or crowding and the darker tortoise buttons give it a special flare. It’s my favorite shirt for this summer.
