Shirt-jacket in buffalo check flannel

This is my first shirt jacket ever, as I always thought they wouldn’t be warm enough for winter. I always wear a merino wool or cashmere sweater when it’s cold. But this shirt jacket is like wearing a double flannel shirt and it’s keeping me so warm. I’m wearing it with one of my vintage chambray shirts, but a striped shirt or even a gingham shirt would be a good combination too. Love the size of the plaid pattern, not too small or too big. Added a pearl necklace for a bit of polish, wanted to avoid the overly rustic look. It runs large, so I sized down to a Small, still roomy enough for layering!

I am a size 6, sometimes size 8 in tops if it is too slim fitting and I bought a Medium. It is supposed to be roomy, so this size doesn't allow any buttons gaping! Thick material and really durable feeling. Feels almost like a double flannel!

This jacket is well-made and is a substantial weight. As the description suggests it runs large and is roomy enough for layers. The small is a bit long and boxy on me but I was looking for a generous fit (32DD, 136lbs). The buttons are a nice touch!
