Slim-fit chambray shirt in white

This is one of many JCrew chambray shirts of mine - most are petite, but not all. This is one I kind of regret keeping w/o it being a petite. The sleeves are great (I've been finding some JCrew petite sleeves to be short lately), but the body length is long... Too much to comfortably tuck, but also too long to do a half tuck w/o it' looking awkward (would need a bigger slit on the sides). It's great if it fits you properly, but I think this is one shirt that needs to be a petite for those of us who lean that way.

This shirt is such a workhorse. It looks great tucked in, untucked, worn on its own, and layered over a tank top, crop top, tee, or turtleneck. It is a slim fit and slightly curves in at the waist, I sized up to have a looser fit for layering, but it still has shape to it and doesn’t look boxy. I recently bought the white one, but the blue one I bought three years ago is still going strong and one of my most worn clothing items. If you like a pearl snap shirt, this is a wonderful modern version that doesn’t skew too western.

Really loved receiving this yesterday, it's exactly what I had hoped it would be - versatile as a shacket or shirt. Fabric is just right, good for any weather. This is just like the jean one I've had for a couple of years, updated in a nice bright white. I'm 5'2.5, 120 lbs. and the regular size 2 fits perfect (even layered over a tshirt), but size up if you prefer oversized.
