Perfect Petite
March 1, 2024I am a petite gal and struggle with the perfect fit on most items. But this one was just 100% my size. I ordered the double 00 and because it's slim, it's not baggy and sleeves are right length. and I love the jewel buttons.

A classic shirt with a modern twist
December 12, 2023I love this darker denim wash, and have been a fan of J Crew's jewel buttoned shirts. I've worn this shirt under a handful of times, and one of the center stones already fell out (luckily I found it and had to glue it back on). Compared to my other shirts with jewel buttons, the prongs holding the stones are very flimsy for this shirt. I noticed the prongs easily get caught in the threads and get pulled apart. Additionally, the wash has already started to fade. It's a gorgeous shirt, so I do recommend it, but would suggest hand washing and air drying. J Crew sizing is a bit inconsistent, so I went with a 2. It fits comfortably, but the length is VERY long (I'm 5'4" for reference).

Gorgeous top!
December 3, 2023This top is beautiful and slimming. It's a very tailored style. I bought my usual size 4 and it fits perfectly. The jewels are high quality. I was going to tuck it in to high waist straight leg jeans until I saw it in person. I don't want my jeans to damage the buttons so I am going to wear it untucked with some skinny jeans and flats. It is a bit long so I don't know if tucking it in would have worked anyway. Also with it being kind of long and narrow it works well for me because I have a slender kind of body. I don't know if it would work for a curvy type of body. Overall, I highly recommend this top!

Poor button quality
November 27, 2023I wore this shirt for the first time today and the small stones in the jewel buttons have already fallen out. I will try and return tomorrow. Fingers crossed I can as I have taken the tags off. Super disappointed as I have other jewel button shirts from JCrew where the buttons did not have the same problem.

Good shirt with faulty buttons.
November 19, 2023I bought this shirt a couple of weeks ago and my usual size, x, fits perfectly. The problem with this shirt is the crystal buttons. The first time I put it on, as I was buttoning it, 2 crystals fell off of one button and 1 crystal fell off another button. I would have returned it but I was going out and didn’t have time to change. I paid full price for the shirt and I’m very disappointed.
