Club Nouveau
April 28, 2022The Slim Fit Club Nouveau Liberty print shirt is not my first J.Crew / Liberty purchase, nor will it be my last. This gorgeous pattern is more beautiful in person. The detail is exquisite, as with most Liberty prints. I dress these up or down with ease as a seasonal transition piece that never goes out of style or looks dated. I receive comments on this shirt from strangers with every wearing. For reference I am 5'9", 160, 36B. Size 10 fit as expected from other J.Crew purchases.

not buying these Liberty shirts anymore
April 19, 2022I have amassed quite a collection of these shirts- they do wear out -these aren't classics constructed for years of wear. They also went through a sizing issue.For a while I couldn't get my regular size I had to go larger or smaller- this is my regular size 6.I have two in a size 4 that are too small though it was the right size for a while..The cotton is different now too it doesn't wear well the silky feel of years past is a distant memory .I like that it is organic but I think it must be somewhat inferior organic fabricl.Most annoying is the daily change in sale prices 40%, 50% or 60% and final sale and you can't get an adjustment( I tried)

April 10, 2022This blouse is very well constructed, a classic style that promises to be worn for years. The colors will complete many basic colors for skirts and pants. It should dress up and down well so lots of uses. The only downside is it does not come in petite, which means off to the tailor for alterations in the shoulders and sleeve length.
