Smocked cotton poplin puff-sleeve top in gingham

Bright, brilliant summer colors; a perfect prep update to gingham without being overwhelming or weird. I have several of these puff-sleeve tops in various colors (linen) and wasn't sure about this one (cotton poplin) until it arrived. Love at first sight. J Crew's smocked, puff-sleeve tops are becoming an addiction! I'd love one in a strawberry print, in eyelet fabric and other fabrics, and more Liberty prints. I'm curvy and a s/m in tops. I got a medium in this and it's a 5 star fit with beautiful details like a back button at neck and gathered fabric at the neckline. Enough puff but no overwhelming volume/over-the-top sleeves to make you take flight. Great for work or play.
