It's a circus tent
September 21, 2021I LOVE this Liberty print, but this top is so off. I saw it on a blogger and thought I could pull it off, but nope. I knew it would run big so I sized down. I am usually a M (occasionally L) or an 8-10 in tops and I bought a Small. It was still enormous, except for the sleeves, which dug into my arms. I tried tucking it in, but it was so much fabric that it ballooned out. The neck line was quite high on me and I think the tie-up back is really impractical. Total miss, which is such a shame because the print is lovely.

August 25, 2021This is the type of item that makes me love J Crew! Reminds me of the style and quality I learned to love 30+ years ago! Love the Liberty fabric and the not run of the mill style. Going to be my favorite transition piece going into fall. Worth every penny.

Gorgeous fabric!
August 6, 2021The style of this beautifully made shirt proved too puffy for my torso (or maybe my age); however, the details are really lovely. (For example, the back neck doesn't just tie but laces up.) The star of the piece is the gorgeous fabric, though, and I would snap up, say, a simpler blouse or popover top made with it. I'm happy J.Crew is shifting from dusty summer shades to more vibrant autumn colors.
