Chambray wrap skirt

This skirt it was a waste of money even tough I bought it on sale. The style its terrible on petite women. It’s big and has not shape at all! In addition to this I washed on the cycle they recommended and the fabric got fuzz balls! A pretty bad inversion of money for sure!

I’ve got a gorgeous Jcrew pencil chambray skirt sitting in my closet from pre-child… same beautiful color as this skirt but too straight/small for my new shape. I ordered this skirt in a S and it was too big so returned for an XS and was fortunate enough to snag it on sale. Still waiting for it to be shipped but can confidently say it’s high quality material but runs slightly large so size down one size. For reference I’m 139lbs and 5”7 with an athletic shape

This is a beautiful skirt and good quality. While my waist size (32") falls within a size L on the JC size chart, it is too loose on my waist buttoned on the tightest hole (if it were a true wrap skirt with a pull-through hole, it may have worked better). This issue is pretty typical for me in many brands. I may have been able to wear a medium, since most of my A-line JC skirts are a size 10, but I wanted to make sure that it fit well on my hips, which are 43". I wish all brands published garment measurements and not standard size charts. It makes online shopping so much easier! My advice would be to go down a size if your waist measurement is on or close to the smaller end of the size range.

I love everything about this skirt. Perfect length. Not too heavy for summer, but not to light to hold shape or see through. And wrap covers all the way across, with buttons on inner and outer wrap at waist, so no peekaboo when you sit down. I would buy this in all the colors you made it in—if you made them.
