Pleated mini skirt in Italian plaid wool

Loved this print and the soft feel of this wool blend even more than I thought I would. Plus, the skirt design is super flattering in real life. (I was worried about it looking wide, but it does not at all.) I ended up purchasing this skirt in both this wool blend and the pink pure wool. In both skirts, I sized up for real - went up from my usual size 6 skirt to a 10. (Stats: 130lbs, 5'5, 36B, carry more weigh on bottom) Size 10 fit well though this one had a bit more room in the waist than the pure wool. My guess is the wool caused the skirts to run smaller. Unless you're a stick proportion-wise, I suspect most women will need to size up at least one size if not two here. But worth figuring out what size works given this skirt is gorgeous!

It’s a lovely skirt that I plan to wear with black tights and a sweater or a white shirt. I got a larger size than usual, so I can wear it much lower on the waist. Not a fan of high waists. Only thing missing are pockets. It’s a very light wool w/stretch. Love it!!
