HATCH X J.Crew No. 2 Pencil® skirt

This skirt is a good idea in theory, but the execution is off. For an xs/s, it is too big and the hips are way too wide. I'm slender but do have hips, and there is no way I could keep this up no matter how big I get during pregnancy. I bought it on sale so it's not returnable.

It’s really hard to find good maternity work clothes. I don’t work somewhere where I can wear a “day to night! Jersey wrap!” I need to wear a suit. So I was so excited for the jcrew hatch suit line. But this skirt is just ok. It sits weird- too high and if you adjust it to be under the bump then weirdly low and then it bunched weirdly. I’m keeping it because I’m desperate but for the price the quality and fit is just ok.
