14 customer reviewsWhat customers are saying:
Customers consistently loved the beautiful, high-quality lace and said the skirt feels polished, flattering, and easy to wear for both work and dressier occasions. Fit seems to vary by body shape, with several customers suggesting sizing up or noting the skirt has little stretch, while petite customers found the length worked well. A common theme was that the silhouette wears a bit less pencil-like than expected, landing closer to a soft A-line or straighter cut. Overall, it’s seen as a pretty, versatile skirt that gets lots of compliments.

Great quality, but looks matronly.
December 6, 2016I wanted to like this skirt... but I ended up returning because it looked too matronly. I bought this in white for my bridal shower because it looked so great on the model. However, in person the skirt was not form fitting at all, I would not consider this a pencil skirt due to the loose fit. The lace is really pretty, great quality, and I would have kept this skirt if it fit nice and snug like the model in the photo. Simply put, it just did not fit like a pencil skirt and so I returned.

True to size...yay
November 27, 2016Skimming, pretty and true to size. Nice summer skirt. Could have done without the nude lining -- white would have been my preference -- but I'll learn to dig the nude. I bought my usual 4 and the skirt fit just right.

Stunning, elegant skirt!
October 1, 2016Bought this at my local J. Crew store. They didn't have my usual size 4 in pencil skirts, so I tried the 2 and it fit like a glove. There is NO give or stretch in the skirt. I'm 5'8" and 128 lbs -- the length is perfect (just above the knee) and the scalloped hem so flattering and perfectly complements the lace. Note -- the lace is not very "lacy" -- more of a cutout floral design (which I prefer) that won't catch on things as easily as lace. The lining is a peachy nude (not super obvious in photo). Others said this is not a pencil skirt, but on me, it's definitely more pencil than A-line -- hangs straight at the bottom; does not taper in.
