Pull-on sandwashed silk short in bandana paisley

I have mixed feelings about these shorts. The good: pretty pattern and color, nice silk fabric. The bad:, at least for me, the fit. Not flattering. Kind of voluminous and because of the soft light fabric. Balloons out ,doesn't hang nicely because of the silk being so lightweight . I don't think I could have sized down because waist is quite tight and small .Might work for someone else with a different body type. I'm 5'6" 132lbs smaller upper body ,waist. Muscular legs. For reference, I'm usually a size 2 in stretch chino shorts, which fit great.

I love the beautiful silk print of these - I love the fit and the pockets, but I do not like that they are lined in polyester. Why couldn't they have been lined in cotton? That would have made these shorts perfect quality for me. I think these are more sleep/lounge shorts than going out in shorts - you could go out in them but they definitely look like pajamas. I got these in my normal small & feel they fit true-to-size.
