Retro track short in towel terry

So thrilled with these. 80s throwback! Beautiful fit and fabric. Not too short, which I appreciate! And not too baggy. Thought the fit was perfect .

I was looking for a pair of shorts to throw on as a cover up. I was super excited to see these. Unfortunately, the fit is off. The Rise is very high and the leg opening very wide. These are definitely made for a pear shape or tall body, which I am not. So sad I had to return.

I am a big girl. I wear an xl or xxl. I wish these were a little longer and had more room in the hip area. Not great for pear shapes. I wish they used a higher quality towel terry that offered more stretch and was a little thicker. I did keep one pair I ordered in an XXL and they are snug. However, great colors and nice that there is a matching sweatshirt available. I’m 5’5, 290lbs. I offer this for other big girls out there that are scared to order.

These shorts reminded me of my childhood growing up in the 80s. I purchased an xs (for reference I am 5'5 and 123 lbs). The colour (neon pink) was great, but the fit was not. They should have been a little shorter, or tighter on the legs, like the side seam should have been taken in about 1/2 in. I felt like the rise was too long and created too much space on the bum/legs, but not in a flattering way. On the plus side, the fabric was very soft and easy to wear.

I just purchased the retro track short in the mariner cloth and loved the fit. These, however, were not winners for me. I have an average sized butt. The back of the shorts is a couple inches longer than the front. If you've got the assets, then these will probably work great, as they will provide extra coverage. The fabric was soft and comfy and the elastic waistband is a must during the quarantine, but sadly they are going back.
