Disappointing New Years Skirt
December 24, 2021Was hoping to love this skirt and pair it with a white linen shirt for New Years Eve. The color is so unappealing and for a short woman (me!) it’s just not a good look. Plus the sequins drop off.

High quality, high style.
November 11, 2021I'm writing a review for this item because it fits TTS, if not slightly generous, and fits as if it has actually been made by a proper tailor. With a 26" waist and 36" hip, I took a size 2 in this skirt. It is not tightly fitted or too short. And the ruffle is complimentary--very holiday, not too silly. It is constructed well, has a good weight and the sequined fabric is high quality and fully lined. I wish more items at JCrew were a sure thing like this one, definitely more old-school JCrew. And while I like the idea of wearing it with a sweater like this model, I'm choosing a slightly shorter, bulkier one for holiday at the beach!
