Side-pleat midi skirt in lobster & seashell print

I bought this skirt because my daughter had it and I loved the pattern. She had a size 2 which was really big on me so I bought the 00. It arrived and it is exactly the same size as the 2. It is so huge it is like a tent. J Crew needs to figure out the sizing of women's clothes. I think the reason it is a FINAL Sale is because of the defective sizing. I should have known when I went to buy it, the website would not take my J Crew credit card so I used my VISA, that should have been a sign not to buy it.

I really like this skirt. Honestly I missed this skirt when it was first presented. I happen to be in the store picking up another item and scanned the sales rack and saw it. It’s really lively in person. It’s a-line which I love. The colors are rich and the material is nice. Happy with my purchase. I’m 5’3”, 160 pear-shaped, sized 6 fits very well.

I love the color and style but I would have preferred this in linens

The first skirt I got was too large in the waist. I’m a very hourglass shape, though. If your body proportions are more typical, go ahead and get your normal size. If you’re like me with a small waist to hip ratio, go down a size to the skirt sits properly; the skirt is very forgiving in the hips. The skirt is a crisp poplin, and the extra details of how it was sewn in the waistband is really appreciated. I’m a huge sewer, so that extra detailing really stands out to me. The skirt is comfortable, and really pretty in person.

I ordered this skirt based on the on line look and once received it was true to the look. The colors were vibrant and it was true to size. Nothing disappointing about this purchase

Adorable skirt but really quite large. I’m typically a 4 in most designer but this skirt was so loose. Returned for a 2 looking FirsTech wearing it this summer and on my trip to Italy in early fall. Cute with flats or a kitten heel
