Tiered midi skirt in sorbet stripe

The skirt is well made with pockets and layer. It is versatile, can be dressed daily or dressed up. I found it is true to size. Although I took my usually size XXS, I can wear XS of this skirt without any problem. I am almost 5'5", the length to me is similar as the model picture on the web.

I usually wear a large and was so bummed when this skirt was sold out. I ended up ordering the medium on a whim and am so glad I did. Totally cute.

I am eagerly awaiting both pieces, when I first saw it, I instantly loved it, it reminded me of growing up in the 80's, when times were so great, the music, the unforgettable hairstyles, and my sewing phase, where everything I attempted to sew was colorful, vibrant!! I will wear this outfit for years to come, even if it's not en vogue later, I've never been one to follow the masses anyway!! I wear what I want, as the unique person that I am, that we all are, for that matter!! I ordered the tall in the top as I am long waisted and feared the top would be too cropped for my personal taste. Thank you, J. Crew for offering both pieces, and allowing me to get the only XS in the skirt ( it probably was a return-and, I thank them for their return too), a pleasant surprise to purchase clothing that I actually WANT to wear!!!
