Pockets add 10 pounds
September 3, 2023The good: great quality, animal-free vegan friendly material, perfect length, flattering well-placed darts in the chest that allow for a D cup so no squished uniboob. The bad: I find it low cut, as you can see the cleavage line in the middle of my chest at the top, so I’ll have to wear a shirt underneath. But my biggest problem is the pockets. They make my outer thighs look huge and are super unflattering. The model wearing the blue dress doesn’t have that problem but she is stick skinny with no curves at all. I’m so bummed because it really detracts from what could have been a nice silhouette and emphasizes my problem area. J. Crew can you please make versions that are pocket-free?

August 25, 2023Such a flattering dress! Thanks to the reviews I sized down to a 2 (usual dress size range of 2-4) I found this stretch linen version ran larger than the cotton dry clean only resume dress I purchased earlier in 2023 in size 4. I'm 127lbs, 5'6" 34b proportionally slightly bigger thighs and butt to upper body. Big fan of resume dresses and love that this version is machine washable!

Perfect dress
August 20, 2023This should be a staple dress in your closet. I purchased it in both colors. I plan to wear it with sweaters, and my favorite JCrew jean jacket.
