Cashmere waffle-knit cardigan sweater

Adds a little polish to a pair of jeans or slacks thanks to the two tone piping. It is a bit wide and a smudge too long, but it's not itchy, yay. pair with a black t-shirt and arms were not irritated. I am 5'3", 128lbs, and slightly long waisted. I took a small.

I love it!! I'm 5'2" and bought the XXS, expecting a boxy, slightly oversized look and it fit the bill perfectly! For my shorter ladies out there, the v-neck is a bit long on me but it still works with the overall look (and if you wear a turtleneck underneath it doesn't really matter). 2 things that I haven't seen yet in the other reviews: the cashmere is a little thicker than I expected and it adds a plushier, cozier feeling to the sweater. Second, I agree with other reviews that the buttons feel cheaper. They are light and sound hollow when you tap on them--but my theory is they were selected because their weight wouldn't pull the knit. If you are OK with that, I'm 99.999% sure you'll be happy with this cardigan!

This cardigan is incredibly soft and comfortable. I purchased is in green and the color is gorgeous. It looks great buttoned or unbuttoned. I am 5’6 and 130 lbs and purchased a small for a roomier fit. In love with this cardigan!

Fits slightly bigger. I am typically a size 10-12 and I had to size down to a medium. The large did run big. This is a very comfortable cardigan that pills really fast. I’ve been wearing it around the house and it’s already pulling. The waffleknit hides the pilling somewhat. Once you wear this, it starts to pill immediately. This isn’t the highest quality cashmere. It doesn’t look like the store product anymore. I got the brown color and it looks more washed out than the stock photo, which looks more yellow. I purchased this with a gift card I had. I think it’s pricey for a cardigan that pills fast.

This is one of the best purchases I've ever made from J.Crew over the past few years. It's super soft and comfortable and easy to style. I got it both in the camel and gray color and they go with just about everything you can think of! I've worn them with jeans, skirts, and even leggings when I'm just jetting to and from the store. I'm 5'10" so the cardigan is just a tad bit cropped on my frame, but still manages to look good. Cannot recommenced this cashmere cardigan enough!

Beautiful sweater. I bought camel and green in my true xxs and it’s perfect with a camisole underneath. I received so many compliments this was worth every penny. Admittedly the buttons are a bit cheap not in aesthetics but quality. The beauty of this sweater is the character of the gold buttons. I would not have purchased with plain buttons. What would be the allure? This is the beautiful style and design details of JCrew of years past. The quality of the cashmere is there, the buttons perfectly beautiful maybe not up to cashmeres quality but with plain buttons this would have been a fail. Way to go JCrew. It’s unique designs like this that will bring your customer base back. With improvements, I’m willing to be the loyal customer I have for 20 years. For those who replaced buttons, to each their own.
