What customers are saying:
Customers are raving about the cardigan’s unique vintage fair isle pattern, quality details like the gold buttons, and its cozy, heavyweight knit perfect for chilly weather. They love the modern cropped, boxy style that lends a retro vibe while still being versatile enough to dress up or down. Many appreciate its flattering look for layering throughout the holiday season, with a few suggesting that opting for one size down can offer a more tailored feel. Overall, the festive colors, durable fabric, and standout design make it a memorable addition to any winter wardrobe.

Obsessed... unabashedly. Also, in love.
December 20, 2020I read what reviews existed at the time I was considering purchasing this and based on what I read and saw in the item description and photos, I jumped at the opportunity to purchase this. I am 5’9 and around 150 lbs. I typically wear a 6 or 8 bottom from J. Crew and am almost always a 4/6 or Small top. I chose to order this in a Medium as I knew that I would use it as a layering piece. It is perfect. It fits wonderfully and I wouldn’t change anything about it. I’ve layered it with a long-sleeved Henley (WFH), with a long-sleeved button-up plaid blouse, a long knit T-shirt that mostly covers my toosh but that I’ve done a front tuck or tie to the side with... I’m telling you, I have over-worn this sweater already and I’ve only had it for about 3 weeks. With regard to the material being itchy - it doesn’t bother me at all. Also, it is a great, this true sweater material and great quality. This is no a thin cardigan by any stretch. More colors/designs pleeeeeease!!!

Absolutely beautiful.
December 19, 2020I have wanted a Fair Isle sweater for such a long time and I finally found one in this sweater. The fabric is soft, thick and beautifully made. You will not regret purchasing this sweater.

Favorite Christmas Sweater
December 19, 2020I am in LOVE with this cardigan. I've always wanted a fair isle patterned sweater and this did not disappoint! The color comes out a bit more cream than white which matches well with the red and brown colors in the pattern. The buttons looks super cute in person and are just the right shade of gold to go with the rest of the sweater. I'm about 5' 10" with a bit of a larger chest, and the cardigan hits right at the top of my hips. The material is just thick enough that it keeps you warm but doesn't make you overly hot. 10/10 would recommend this product!

Forever favorite holiday sweater
December 18, 2020I stalked this sweater on the J.Crew website for WEEKS and finally snagged two, one in size Small and the other in XS (my regular size) and after trying both on, stayed with my regular size as it was the best fit. I love the boxy cropped shape and the sleeves have volume but are the right length on me and the core fits slightly oversized as designed. The colors and details on this make it one of my favorite sweaters of all time. I'm excited to wear this for the rest of the holiday season and know I will continue to be excited for this classic year over year. First two photos of small, second of XS

The holiday sweater of my dreams
December 17, 2020Finally, J.Crew delivers! So glad I didn’t give up hope that they’d bounce back. This cardigan is the holiday sweater of my dreams - worthy of a J.Crew catalog cover shot in some picturesque locale in Scandinavia or Banff perhaps. The cardigan is quite heavy but in a good way, and you want to wear something underneath. It’s definitely a bit too oversized on me, but I love it anyway. The diamond patterns are woven from a multicolored yarn of brownish-greys and olive green - very pretty. The red/orange trims are just the right amount of festive as are the gold buttons. I’m so excited to be wearing this around the house leading up to xmas, over a black turtleneck with joggers and heathered wool socks. If it pops back up on the website, do not hesitate!
