Cute, but shrank
2 days agoI bought this on sale, so I'm not too bummed about it, but if I had paid full price, I'd be very disappointed. It wasn't very soft, but it did soften up a bit after washing. However, I washed it in cold water and dried flat before wearing, and it shrank noticeably. I'm 5'7" 115lbs and usually a small in J. Crew (and most brands.) Ordered a small but if I had sized up to a medium, that probably would have been better. It's cute, but because of the shrinkage, it doesn't fit how it did before washing. Kind of a bummer.

My favorite sweater
1 week agoThis is my favorite sweater of the year. I can wear it everyday. I bought one last year, then ordered another recently. The pattern is so pretty, I love the bell sleeves. I am 5'00. I generally take S, or XS depending on style. I ordered S in this. I layer a camisole. S looks slightly roomier than the model. XS might have looked more flattering, but I prefer roomier fit . (I am in early 60s.) The length was perfect, not too short, not too long.
