Cashmere fold-over turtleneck sweater

Great color (got a blue one) and I've been looking for more fitted sweater. It's still pretty loose and too long on me and not as soft as I would expect for cashmere. It's still a nice sweater and I decided to keep it. Overall quality is nice, just not as nice as I would expect for a cashmere sweater from jcrew.

There's nothing like a black cashmere turtleneck sweater! This one fits me perfectly in the size J Crew recommended as my "true fit": that is, Medium (and I'm a basic size 10). It's a great length, being slightly long and hitting at low hip. That's perfect for me too, as I'm 5'5" & long through the torso and a more cropped look isn't becoming on me. And yes, it's a true turtleneck. There's just enough relaxation to wear a tissue turtleneck underneath. That's very fortunate, because as another reviewer noted, this is not the softest cashmere - it's a bit scratchy on me too! I deducted a star for that as to the quality rating. With a tissue turtleneck layered underneath, though, this sweater's very comfortable, very flattering in the long & only slightly relaxed cut, warm, and classic. Love it! Really works for me. Gave it 5 stars for the "overall" rating.

Omg my new favorite black sweater! I may need to order more colors as this is such a great sweater casual or dressy.
