Lightweight and cool for summer
June 5, 2023I bought this top to wear with linen pants. It has lots of stretch and runs slightly large. I sized up to accommodate my larger bust size, but could have worn a medium as well. I kept the large for a little extra length, so it would skim the top of my pants instead of being a true crop top. I did not notice any issue with the arms sticking out like wings as other reviews mentioned. J.Crew has knocked it out of the park with their ladylike classics this summer.

Wings
May 23, 2023I had high hopes for this top, but should have known better. Several of the reviewers mention that the cap sleeves are too large, as one reviewer mentioned ‘the cap sleeves stick outwards like wings’. And it’s not like I have thin arms…I feel you must be a body builder to fill the sleeves. A little DIY (folded a bit of the underarm part double and stitched together) helped but I still feel it’s better to wear this top with something over it to hide the sleeves.

Loved, but returned due to flutter-style sleeves
May 4, 2023Absolutely perfect; however, with my 38DD chest, the flutter-style of the cap sleeves made my shoulders and chest look so wide, while the rest of me looked so great. I can wear flutter sleeves, but not on a sweater. The sleeves don't resemble the picture. Sigh... My husband shook his head, and said no. I ordered the green, and I love the color! I wear a large in regular sweaters and an XL in cropped because of my chest.

Pleasant surprise
April 18, 2023I am 65 years of age and reasonably fit. I did not know if this top would work for me, but I needed a shorter/cropped top to pair with a few high-waist pants that I purchased recently. This top is flattering on me and the black with white trim is striking. A pleasant surprise, indeed!

Almost perfect
April 17, 2023I purchased it to go with my gold skirt from JCrew but had to return because the top of the sleeves are shaped weirdly. Has like a permanent crease on the top of the sleeves.
