Fair Isle sweater-vest

I'm a fan of sweater vests so I snatched this up when I saw it on sale. I love the pattern and the colors but it runs slightly large. Unfortunately, it's been sold out so I could not return for an XS, but would have if that was an option.

I was so not sure about this. I tried on a few other vests, and I wasn't a fan. Usually, something with the arm holes were off and the neck was too high. This looks exactly as picture. I paired it with same shirt and jeans, and it was so cute. For reference I bought the XS and I'm 5'5", 120lbs, and 34B.

This vest is eye catching; the colors are as pictured online. Love that lavender blue paired with cream. I waited for months to buy it and bought it on sale. I got compliments on it + a friend asked if it was vintage. :) I like that it's brand new but has the 80's/90's vibe. I usually wear S or sometimes M in J Crew tops. I bought M but wish I'd bought S as it's a bit too wide for my taste. But I'm keeping it and love it. The fabric feels lower quality -- I knew that as I study the fabric content of everything I buy online -- it's 70% Polyamide and 30% lambs' wool. Polyamide cheapens everything it's in. I wish it was a higher quality wool/cashmere blend or 100% cashmere. Sigh. But the colors & design make up for it and it's a keeper.

Just wore it to run errands and stopped by a Jcrew store. One of their stylist gave me compliments on the vest (they only carry sweaters in this pattern), it looks like she'll be ordering one online for herself ;) The vest itself runs a little large, I think it's because of its overall boxy fit. I still kept my usual Small size. For reference, I'm 5'7'', 129 lb, 34C, lean framed. The vest only has 30% lambswool, the rest is the pesky polyamide. I don't find it either itchy, or too hot for the SoCal mild climate.

I am 5”3 ,120bs.I normal wear S J crew brand I bought M on final sale because bigger is better than small.I am glad I bought M a little big and wider but it is ok.I can wear a shirt underneath.The length is good for me but for tall ,should be aware the length.Good quality ,no feel itchy .I recommend! It looks good quality and nice print.

The length of the vest was good but the width runs big. If you are not big busted, consider ordering a size down if you want it to fit as it does on the model. It is a little on the thin side but very pretty.
