Customers really like the soft, comfy feel of this sweatshirt, along with the rich brick-red color and flattering collegiate look. The quality generally comes across as very good, with several customers calling out the sturdy feel and sewn lettering. Fit tends to run more tailored than a classic roomy sweatshirt, so some customers found it true to size while others suggested sizing up for a looser, more relaxed fit. Overall, it’s seen as a cute, warm weekend layer that gets lots of compliments.

Pretty Good...
December 7, 2018I absolutely adored this sweatshirt with its rustic red color against white lettering. Based on other sweaters/t-shirts referencing various locations sold on J.Crew, it only seemed proper to me this sweatshirt was referring to the Badlands in South Dakota. I ordered this in my usual size, XXS, and it fitted well for the exception it seemed to be a bit tight around the lower waist. Perhaps I should go up a size if I wanted that roomy sweater lounge look, but unfortunately it's all sold out. =\

Lettering Crumpled After First Wash
December 3, 2018I've had this for awhile but hadn't worn it until recently. After the first wash (on cold and line dry), the lettering curled up. It's going to take a very hot iron to press them out and I'm not even sure that that will do the trick. I didn't buy a sweatshirt to have to iron it after every wash.
