Sur la mare sweatshirt in original cotton terry

It's a very comfortable sweatshirt. I like the relaxed style, and the quality. It's great for walks, and yard works. I wish I could get a second one, since my daughter is taking over this one.

Nice material. I usually wear a xs in any Crew top, but this I got a s & it fits like a sweatshirt shld. Roomy, but not overly so. I’m 5’3 & it hits at my hip if I pull it straight down, the bottom cuffing will skootch upward (which is good) b/c it’s nice & tightly woven as it shld be. A sx definitely wld have been & looked to small for a sweat shirt. This fits perfectly. Under arms a roomy, too. Haven’t washed it yet, so can’t comment, but I plan on fluffing in dryer b/c I don’t want to take chance of it shrinking. Got it at a super good sale, so I really lucked out b/c it’s no return policy .

I marked this as running “slightly small”, because it fits me perfectly.. including sleeve length.. and I’m 5’3” with relatively short arms. It is exceptional in quality.. sturdy without being stiff. I have a bagillion sweatshirts, but this is BY FAR my favorite fit ever!! The sleeve and body widths are more TTS. I weigh 113 lbs, and the XXS (my usual) is just right with just enough slouch. It honestly looks like it was tailored for me. I wish there were other color choices. I’d buy them all! FYI, if you are tall with longer arms, this will fit you as cropped with bracelet sleeves.

Unfortunately there were no reviews when I bought this sweatshirt. Turns out it runs smaller than all other sweatshirts I've bought from J Crew. I always wear XS and bought an XS but this sweatshirt was very close fitting and the sleeves were a bit short on me (5'2", 115 lbs). The length was also pretty short. Size up for it to fit like on the model.

i like everything about this sweatshirt. My usual size is xs, but i decided to go one size up because i have slightly broader shoulder, and it was perfect!
