This Polartec fleece jacket is getting a lot of love for being warm, cozy, and easy to wear, with customers especially liking the roomy, boxy fit and the ability to layer a sweater underneath. Most found their usual size worked well, though some customers preferred sizing down for a less oversized look or sizing up if they wanted extra room for layers. The quality, snaps, pockets, and overall construction are widely praised, making it feel like a solid everyday jacket. A few customers also suggested double-checking the color, since some shades can look different in person than they do online.

Nice jachet
December 5, 2025I love this jacket. I have one in orange and wanted to get others in different colors, but it's no longer available. It's warm and comfortable. Blue or green would be good options. Machine wash and true to size.

One size down
February 28, 2022It’s cute jacket but runs big. I wear jcrew xs n s. This is definitely should be a xs. Otherwise the length of sleeves will be too long. I am 5’2. 126lb

Similar to last year but size down!
January 31, 2022I’m a big fan of J.Crew’s Polartec fleece and bought every color of last year’s jacket and still love them! Just purchased the Mocha in Large, which is what I bought previously and assumed it would have the same fit - relaxed but not grossly oversized. I’m an elder millennial trying to wear clothes that don’t look frumpy and not Gen Z making a statement, after all. For reference, I’m consistently a 12/Large in most shirts/sweaters with J. Crew but can size down comfortably to a 10/Med if it’s oversized or runs big. The color is just what I expected, more pink/brown than yellow/brown. My only issue is this year’s jacket runs MUCH bigger! The sleeves go down to my fingertips and have to fold them to be functional. The upper body is really wide and the length is definitely NOT cropped like some reviews noted - the back hits below my butt and I’m 5’6”. It’s about 2” longer and wider than last year’s jacket, which was more of a bomber style. Med would have been a much better choice.
