Ribbed cross-front cheeky bikini bottom

I weigh 170 and have a 30 inch waist and 42 inch hips. I got a large because I had already bought non-returnable bottoms in a different cut (the little shorts ones) in a medium and they were too tight on my thighs. These are humongous on me like a diaper. The weird thing is I can't imagine that a smaller size would fit better, I feel like they would still have too much fabric but eventually also be too tight around the legs. I have no clue what JCrew were thinking with this. The color is great. I got a DD top that fits great. I just wanted some matching bottoms but everything is cheeky and somehow also has too much fabric. These are almost an equilateral triangle: the leg holes are 13 inches long and the waist is 14.5 inches across.

These are very cute & flattering high rise bottoms! I have tried other high rise swim bottoms from J.Crew that just ran too small- the cross front is more forgiving if you are a little soft in the middle like I am. I feel like it helped keep everything in place, and I didn’t feel too exposed in the back (despite the “cheeky” description). I wear a 8/m and these fit great. Love!

I read some of the other hesitant reviews but decided to take a chance on these bottoms and I’m glad I did. I’m 5’ 11” ish with narrow hips, long waist and an athletic build and got the small - my TTS JCrew swimwear bottom- fits great and am considering another color

These fit strangely and almost lopsided. I can't put my finger on what is making these fit so odd. They "fit" but they don't. It's bizarre. The top is not loose or tight, but one side keeps rolling down. It just won't stay up so I think it's a sewing issue. The fabric is also abrasive and doesn't have a lot of stretch. It's uncomfortable to wear.

Overall, the fit of these bikini bottoms are perfect, and the waist and fabric are super flattering. That said, I agree with what another reviewer wrote. There is a weird amount of extra fabric in the crotch, which creates a baggy/wrinkled look. I have no idea why the bikini would be constructed this way. It's double lined, which is nice, but it's clear that there's more fabric in the top layer than the bottom layer. Were this not final sale, I would return it. I'm very disappointed, since it's otherwise a perfect fit. I'd expect better construction from JCrew.

These fit like a glove and look really cute! I have a more athletic/curvy build, and they fit like a high-rise and accentuate my curves beautifully! I have the matching top and have enjoyed wearing them to the pool since I've had them. Quality is good and color matches what is online!
