Tie-front french bikini top in vibrant garden piqué

I am usually a 2x at J.Crew, and a 40DDD. The 2x 's band feels a bit too loose for me, so I do not feel as supported as I wish I did. But the fabric is high quality, so I also do not feel as though I am going to be exposed any moment. I wish it was more supportive, but not a bad look at all.

This is a very cute swimsuit, but because the bikini top has no support, it's likely going to look much nicer on a B cup or smaller. I am very petite, but a full C. I purchased a size Small, which fit just fine; however, it gave me the "rectangular" look where the girls just kind of spread out to the side instead of being lifted and pushed together a bit. A standard triangle bikini would have worked much better in this print I think for those of us with a little more to support on top.
