Tie-waist tunic beach dress in tossed floral

This a fantastic beach dress. I have actually worn it as "regular" dress on a trip, and it worked out great (I wore a white cotton slip under it). The pattern and colors are nicer in person and the fabric is not as see-through as other beach dresses I have, but still light. It runs true to size.

The color for this looks like a pale pink on the website, but in person it is a much more vivid & darker pink, and a huge improvement over the website color. I got this in two other colors, because I ended up liking the style so much. Thin, airy & comfortable for summer - needs a slip if you're wearing it to work. My main complaint is the chemical smell this comes with out of the bag - not sure if it's the dye or fabric, but why does the cotton clothing from J Crew smell like fertilizer chemicals? It's fine once it's aired out for a week, but still.

This cover up is so cute and looks flattering on! I've received so many compliments in it and bought it in a couple different colors. It does run slightly large but I bought my regular size and it works since it's a cover up.
