June 7, 2023I wanted to love this top with the ruched bottoms. But it's so skimpy. It really doesnt cover much at all. And it certainly doesnt look right with the bottoms. I am sad because I bought it on Final Sale and cannot return it. So now I am stuck with a $90 bathing suit that might as well go in the trash. I felt awful in it. And I buy exclusively JCrew bathing suits. For over 20 years, this is the brand I buy because I usually buy the long torso one pieces. This year, I wanted a two piece and this is not it.

It's Not What I Excepted
June 2, 2023A few things right out of the gate with this, the background color is more buttery yellow than a cream color its not well represented in the pictures. Also there is zero padding, foam, "modesty" liner inside. The fabric is extremely taunt across the underwire so it almost squashes you chest down(?). I hate how the pictures make it look like more of a 'cup' when its very flat and taut. Its very cute and feminine, the print is fun. Despite the lack of supportive fabric/foam/lining it doesn't lose its shape. It still has a certain retro feel to it, but compared to the suits of years prior I wasn't super impressed.
