This beach dress has a cute, breezy look and the lightweight cotton feels comfortable, especially as a cover-up over a swimsuit. A lot of customers found it runs very large, so sizing down seems to be the way to go. The tie-and-drape design can take a little experimenting to get the look right, but when it works, it gives a relaxed, flowy finish. Overall, it seems best for pool or resort wear rather than everyday outfitting.

Nice Beach Dress
September 20, 2022This is nice for a beach dress. Not really for outdoor wear for me. Maybe with a tank/cami underneath- have to try that.. As other review stated - I worked with it on a hanger with the ties and found it to work for me . Very cute, very light and long.

Poor Craftsmanship
September 7, 2022After reading all the reviews, I took a chance and ordered this cover up 2 sizes down. I was very pleasantly surprised with it - until I realized 3 of the 4 drawstrings at the waist are sewn in, so I cannot cinch them as needed to have the dress fit properly. I'll try to fix it on my own since it was such a bargain, but would caution others to the potential issue.

too much fabric and weird shape
August 29, 2022I wanted to love this and had hopes even though I read the reviews that I could make this work. The fabric itself is beautiful, great print, light-weight but not see through cotten. For that I gave the quality 4 stars. HOWEVER, as many stated, the shape of this garment is way off. I did size down 2 sizes and ordered the XS. I don't think sizing down any further would have helped due to the overall shape. The top with deep v in front and back is perfect. The first set of ties allow you to fit the shape to your body very well (although you have to do it while its on your body, otherwise you can't get it over your head). Its the 2nd set of ties and the way the skirt is cut that is the problem. Its really hard to explain. I regret purchasing this and cannot return as it was a final sale. I am 5 2, usually a M, or size 10 in J Crew.
