Beautiful pattern, good fit BUT size up
March 24, 2025This top fits like JCrew swim used to (which I prefer), more fabric, coverage and room in the cup. BUT I had to size up...for reference I'm a 34C and had to get a large. Beautiful pattern, not too sheer.

Cute if you’re petite
December 6, 2024This is okay- fit is small, so order a size up. I’m normally a Medium and needed a Large. Also, it doesn’t cover much… I wish JCrew would design more tops for broad shoulders/big rib cages. A top like this only looks good on a petite upper body. Something that covers more space, naturally enhances the chest, and stays secure… is far harder to find. I’d love to see that next year, esp bc a print like this is beautiful & hard to pass up… but I’ll prob need a solid color top instead of this, as I don’t want to flash the beach. Lol..

I have a few of these string bikinis & love them so I can attest to the quality (and good level of coverage & swim-ability for a relatively sexy swimsuit, haha) but I bought this one for my daughter. She loves it & is particularly happy with the pretty floral.

Pretty and goes with a lot
June 19, 2024All of my J. Crew bikini tops are size small, and I had to exchange this for a medium. I still feel a little smooshed in it. Other than that, it’s really pretty. I bought the hipster olive green bottoms to go with it. Also looks good with red bottoms. For reference I’m 5’7”, 117lbs, 32D.

Super unflattering suit; what a waste of money!
June 7, 2024I buy almost all my swimwear at J. Crew. This is probably the least flattering bathing suit I have ever seen. And I am a former fitness model, so I have work a lot of bikinis. The top is incredibly skimpy. I am a B cup and the triangles are so small that I don't feel sufficiently covered! I bought the high-waisted bottom, which usually flatters me fine. It is comically high, ditto for the extreme thigh openings. And not in a flattering way. I think J. Crew knew EXACTLY what it was doing when they offered this suit with a tiny discount BUT Final Sale. This looks to me like an error in production that they tried to minimize by selling it off quickly as Final Sale. The fabric is utterly gorgeous. So sad the production wasted this beautiful fabric.
