Not J.Crew quality
October 9, 2022I have been buying J.Crew swim for many years and absolutely love it but this was a fail. It is too big and the way it is made it does not have stitching/elasticity on one side so it just sort of "sits" on your body...no support and hardly any structure...wish I could send back. I will definitely not be able to wear it except to work in the yard.

Runs big- but nice
August 16, 2022I haven't purchased J Crew swim tops before, but I'm typically a M and sometimes a swimsuit L due to torso size (36B, 145lbs). I like the look and feel of the swim top, but it is big on me. It has good coverage and is flattering- the color is great, maybe a bit darker than the photo. Could I have sized down? Maybe, but it doesn't feel like a whole size bigger - I can pull about an inch at the seam to have it fit me tightly, and the material seems to have a lot of stretch. If you're in between sizes, or on the smaller end of a size, I'd recommend sizing down. Great price for the quality.

Proceed with caution
June 24, 2022Swim top runs at least 1 size too big. I'm usually a SMALL in swim tops from jcrew but I'm swimming in this one. Now I am on the smaller size of a size small but I've bought size SMALL at jcrew swim and not had an issue! It's bummer they mark all sale as final sale as it is jcrew at fault for not taking the proper time to fit and size garments. Overall the quality of material and color (green surplus) is great but only buy if you are willing to roll the dice on sizing.
