Should all be recalled - we deserve refunds!
June 6, 2024Unless you have no objection to baring your belly with Every. Single. Move. whenever you wear these long-sleeved tees, avoid purchasing. In fact, I'm learning that ALL my newer JCrew shirts are coming up short (pun intended)! What is wrong with this company's buyers? ALL of them seem to think that every customer looks like their models (so why even offer sizes M, L, and XL?), and that at 64, I should go around and flash everyone my darn belly all winter long? These shirts are made of nice cotton and come in lovely colors, and hold up well in the wash in all ways except for additional shrinkage in length. I wash colors in cool water & always hang my clothes to dry, then give a quick tumble to soften before folding. don't know how only the torso shrinks in length - the sleeves stay fairly nice & long. But the 3 inches they're saving by secretly cropping the bottom hem has cost them this customer. All 6 of these shirts are going to the Goodwill. Maybe someone will upcycle them as car rags.

The fit is kind of odd…
April 8, 2023I have a collection of the “perfect fit” long sleeve cotton tee (xxs). I bought knowing already what “slub material” is, so off the bat I knew this would be different, but I wanted the colour an olive type green named “general surplus.”. I went w/xxs. I’m around 5 feet and have a mesomorphic build, and have so many of the aforementioned tees because i can wear them as an undergarment (no bra necessary). I couldn’t leave home wearing this that way —mostly because the material is thinner, and the fit is more related, but oddly, around the elbow and the wrists the tee feels tight, while the upper arm part seems kinda looser in comparison. It’s a fab item, make no mistake, but for what I wanted it’s not quite tIcking each of my criteria.

Wear three seasons in a year
April 6, 2023I own many colors. This tee has the perfect shape, thickness, length and colors! It is great to wear with a blazer, a cardigan, jeans or a skirt! I can see JCrew is going to discontinue this style as all colors have been on clearance for a while and most already sold out. I wish there would be new colors release for this style.
