I should have listened...NOT RED!!
January 9, 2021I've been hunting for red patent leather booties with a square toe box and heel for years. This looked like I was finally getting what I wanted. So sad and disappointed when I opened and found a deep mauve boot. Maybe I can take a red sharpie to the boot. Leather looks like cheap faux pleather just ready to peel. And, not typically of the obvious high quality JC shoes. The heel shape and toe box is great and exactly what I was looking for. Overall just a solid miss for me. Looks like my J. Crew CC balance will be going down...

December 18, 2020Absolutely adorable! These boots are perfect. They are not too young and not too red. They are the perfect red and perfect amount of shine to them for an adult woman who wants to say, hey, I'm sexy! I would definitely recommend getting a pair! You will love them!!

Underappreciated!
December 15, 2020Wow. These are so cute. I bought them on a whim thanks to a great sale, really expecting to... I don't know, as another reviewer mentioned: maybe I'd have a cute rain boot. These. Are. So. Cute. I am so glad so many people gave them negative reviews, because it's probably why I was able to get them so cheap. They're true to size. They're a great fit (not too bulky, not too narrow). I love them, I almost let out a squeel.

It’s not bad
December 12, 2020It’s true to size and true to color. It’s also just like other review described looks like rain boot. Patent leather is rather stiff but not uncomfortable.

Remind me of rain boots
December 5, 2020I do like these boots but when I took them out of the box they very much reminded me of rain boots. The description doesn’t say if they’re waterproof, but if they are, then hey, I’ve got a very stylish pair of rain boots. I guess they’re patent leather but the shaft is very thick and rubber-like. They come up on the calf higher than expected. I do like them though, and I’m even thinking about getting the calf-hair ones. I think the heel is very walkable. I found them to be true to size.
