Go up a full size!
September 7, 2021I bought these espadrille mules in the camel color — they are quite pretty! But I can’t walk in them, because they run short. My heel ends up hanging off the edge as I walk. I guess I can wear them when I am working from home at my computer, but shoes you can’t walk in are not a good deal, even at a fabulous sale price. I should have paid more attention to the other reviews which mentioned this issue. I wear a 9.5 or a ten depending on the type of shoe — I bought size 10 and think I would have needed a whole size bigger to make it work. I normally do a lot of walking during my work day. I’ll gift them to a friend with smaller feet!

September 1, 2021While the show ran a little narrow, I used a shoe stretcher and it was perfect. The shoe is very nice and good quality leather.

The insole is jute, not smooth. Rough on the foot.
August 25, 2021I was surprised to see that the insole was the jute which I can’t wear because it rubs wrong on the bottom of my feet. I guess I will give them away. I wear a size 10 and have a more narrow foot and the 10 1/2 was snug and fit the width of my foot good, so if you have a wide foot, this may not work for you. I got the caramel color and it is pretty. Just wished they would’ve put a smooth leather insole in the shoe. That wasn’t in the description anywhere. Some products need to have more detail info so we know what we are buying.

August 17, 2021These are cute, they fit well, but they the sole is very scratchy and cuts into your feet if you wear them and walk for too long.

Order half-to-one size up
August 2, 2021These look expensive in real life (in both offered colors). Shoe runs VERY short in length. I am a J. Crew 9 for flats, 8.5 for their heels, and needed size 10 for these to look acceptable/stay on. PS: I tried on a 10.5 and those also looked like I was wearing my own shoes (vs borrowed from a taller friend). Very expensive looking.
