J Crew moves to “final sale” status too quickly now, especially considering that their sizing is so inconsistent. I am always a size 9 or 9 1/2 in J Crew shoes. These were reviewed as true to size, but size 9 is much too big on me. Because of the early move to final sale, I am stuck with beautiful sandals that don’t fit. J Crew would do well to return to their previous customer service protocol of a few years back. I have learned that I must avoid trying many items that I would otherwise love to check out because final sale applies far too early now - no chance any longer to get the correct size when something does not fit - and J Crew may make lovely things, but their sizing is “off the charts” inconsistent!! I am shopping far less with them now because of all this. Sad.

I bought the wine color, and it is so rich and beautiful. The color did rub off on one spot which was annoying, but they're so comfy I am willing to overlook. True to size.

I would recommend only if you get a killer deal on these. Pro’s; they are cute. Con’s; they do not look like quality leather expected from the original price. The leather almost looks like faux leather. They run large. I usually wear an 8.5 and the 8’s were a good fit with plenty of room from the edge of the shoe to my toes.
