May 7, 2025I bought these in my usual size 6 1/2 and it fits tts even though other reviews said it fits small. They’re classy and classic looking and it’s mid height, so I can comfortably walk a short distance w/ these on.

January 15, 2025Please please please please J. Crew!!!!!! For the love of all those who appreciate beautiful shoes, I’m begging you, PUH-leeeeeeeeese make your shoes a tad more wearable!!! They seemed to be designed for those who have super straight narrow feet. I’m willing to invest in shoes stretchers to stretch out a shoe before wearing but the problems with this shoe go beyond a little stretching. I love the materials and the colors of the shoes. The styles are so sophisticated but I’m worried that I will be sacrificing my feet to wear these beautiful shoes for a few hours!!! Why does there have to be so much toe cleavage?!?!? Why can’t some space from the overly long toe box be given to make the vamp a little higher?!?!?!?!? The shoes would probably not be the most comfortable ever, but a couple of tweaks like that would make them a little more sufferable to wear! One other reviewer mentioned the shoe being simultaneously too big and too small. I don’t remember if it was this style, but that’s what the show looks like!! Like my toes are crammed into the toe box of a shoe that is 2 sizes to small! The base of my pinkie toe (where the annoying tailors bunion tends to) is hanging out and it looks like my toes are crammed and pushed. Though the rest of the shoe fits just fine. Sigh. I realize my uncomfortable shoe days are almost behind me, but I would think that for J. Crews reputation of quality for price you’d get at least a shoe that wouldn’t hasten those “no uncomfortable shoe” days to the present. Anyways, it was worth the sale price to see if I can make them work, so 2 stars for color and style. This goes for both the green Jules and the snakeskin Jules. But there is definite comfort and easy wearability missing.
