Maisie ankle-strap heels in croc-embossed leather

I bought these shoes in two colors, dessert taupe and rich scarlet. I loved the taupe ones, they have a hint of pale pink, which I actually love. I hated the red ones, didn´t like at all the painted stripes that simulate the croc design, the look absolutely fake and are very dark, like done with a fine maker, I couldn't tell that from the picture, which make them look very discreet and elegant, if I could return them, I would, but, unfortunately, they were on final sale. One star for the red ones, five stars for the taupe ones. As for the size, as in all the Maisie JCrew shoes, they run big. I purchased 1/2 size smaller, and still feel a bit big, but I would size down any more.

Cute shoes, well worth it if you can get on sale. However, wish I had read the reviews as they are definitely big, at least half a size. I am consistently an 8, but wish I had done a 7.5. Also, the color is a bit more matte than in the pictures, which shows bright, shiny red. But, they are very cute if you can get them on sale.

I love these shoes and I get so many compliments on them.
