Cross-strap sandals in leopard calf hair

After reading so many reviews about how some of J.Crew's shoes have lately plummeted in quality, I lucked out after choosing a pair that really hit the mark. They fit me true to size, with no stretching or slipping around and they are remarkably comfortable, considering that they have no cushioning. The calf hair design makes them a unique choice for summer and they work so well as a neutral pairing. As I haven't worn them for an hours' long stroll, I can't recommend them for that purpose, but for intermittent standing, walking and sitting over the course of a few hours, they were still quite comfortable for me. Nice job, J.Crew.

I wear a size 6 medium width, and I purchased these in a size 6, and they fit fine. My issue was the crisscrossing straps. The straps closer to my toes are positioned in a weird place, at least for my foot. My little toe is left exposed between the two straps and the tip of the toe rubs up against the first strap since it isn't secured within it. It isn't quite hanging out of the straps but it just feels strange to me. While these are very cute, I returned them.

These sandals go with everything! So glad I ordered them!
