Gretchen cross-strap sandals in leather

Very cute shoes but hard to wear. They are awkward and not very comfortable. I would not recommend these particular sandals.

I like the padding on the sole and the overall quality of the shoe is nice. Tho they are a touch masculine for my tastes now that I see them in person. Still I would keep them except unfortunately they are cut too long and narrow for me. I got a 9 1/2, my usual size, but these are not fitting as I would hope. The sole under my foot is more narrow than my foot area, and there's a lot of shoe in front of my toes. Awe shucks. I'm going to explore ways to return -- hope I can in this weird era.

Super stylish shoe! They have a bit of cushion to them so they’re a lot comfier than most sandals. My only issue with these sandals is the quality, the leather is very cheap and seems to scratch and get stains that are near impossible to fix. I was kind of disappointed by this because they wear out so quickly!!! I’ve been wearing JCrew since I was a child and I don’t think the quality of these shoes are reflective of the brand at all.

I so wanted to love these as they are a nice looking sandal. When i received them i tried them on noticed there is absolutely no bending in these at all the straps are "slippery " and definitely nothing keeping your foot in the sandal so i can feel my foot constantly coming out of the sandal with each step and again no bend at all. I would think it would be a troublesome day walking long distances in these (esp since we do alot of walking in the summer). Seems all jcrew sandlas are like this; i wish they made a more walking friendly sandal these will definitely cut your feet.

I think I am in the grey area of a regular and wide foot. I have only purchased one wide foot shoe before,and it proved to be too wide. I would say these shoes run on the narrow side of in-between footed folks. I am hoping they stretch just a tad--I bought on sale and my local store closed a couple years ago so I will keep. I still am mourning the loss of my store. I hope J. Crew will open another store in Fresno in the future. Size a half size up if you have a wider foot.

These were much nicer than I expected and AMAZINGLY comfortable. I’m on my feet all day and the cushion on these is wonderful. The shoes are made well and the leather is buttery soft. I did need to use my hands to get them on the first couple of times but the leather stretches out. Length-wise, they are VERY true to size so if you’re between sizes or worries about your heel looking like it’s off the back of the sandal, definitely size up. I loved mine so much I got them in 2 colors and they’ll be my go-to summer sandal.
